I guess you have 20/15 vision in both eyes because my posture goes to shit if I try to use a 15.6 inch 1080p screen. I'm sitting at the same distance I was with the Asus monitor. Then again, I wasn't competitive, but I had no problems beating the pubs. It's 3 or 1. Higher PPI will give you a better picture. Typicaly it doesnt truly scale the monitor itself but changes the game image so its not a true resolution scaler imo as you cant physicaly adjust a monitors PPI but the software/imga eitself can be. It has alot to do with the ppi which is why the sweet spot for 1080p monitors is 23 or 24" When you start to get past that the pixels become more bigger or further apart which makes the image look not as sharp as it would of been and more blurry.Like taking a image and stretching it out it will lose some of its detail and u dont want thatNow to some people that doesnt bother them but as for me when dealing with monitors i love getting the best ppi i can get along with the resolution.

solved Monitor advice, 24 in. If you move further away, they'll appear identical, but the 27" is now going to also appear smaller, like a 24". With a good ero monitor arm you can adjust your view distances more, and even vary the distance depending on what you are doing (desktop/apps vs gaming for example).Click to expand. Like i said finding the correct seller is key as they hand pick the monitors.some just ship what they have crap or not. Yay me.Dude. In terms of size of the screen, here's how a 24" 16:9 and a 27" 16:9 comparison. Also u need to use a color profile.lol people need to do more research or ask questions. If you are happy at 1080p (as you said in another thread while throwing an earlier tantrum on this topic) then why are you giving us brain ache in that thread and now this new thread that you created because you are happy? Clearly not happy lol. In other words lol it wont be the same as having a higher PPI/ resolution monitor.

Also u need to use a color profile.lol people need to do more research or ask questions. Don't textures become more detailed at 1440p and beyond? Specifically, distant textures? Also, you don't need SLI to run 1440p. It may also cause the UI/text in certain games to appear small. For gaming, a higher pixel density is definitely better. You can buy & here are few related threads for 24" 4K displays (and probably there will be few victims of their seemingly low price). I don't have the best eyesight, so what would work for me is to have a 27" 4K monitor for gaming, but use it at 2K on the desktop. I didn't see any other advantage that proves that the display is of higher quality specification wise. Three feet is pushing it. This is a noticeable difference for me, albeit only slightly (I mostly notice that text is smaller).
